TERRE HAUTE, IND., April 21.— Rogers Hornsby's St. Louis Cardinals are here today for an exhibition with the home club to fill in a vacant spot in their schedule, having lost 7 to 0 to the Chicago Cubs in their final game at St. Louis yesterday and will open a three-game sketch with the Pirates at Pittsburgh tomorrow.

Yesterday the Chicagoans hopped on the southpaw slants of Art Reinhart for a total of 12 hits. The Cubs scored lone runs in the third, fourth and sixth and four runs in the ninth. Cooper worked for the Cubs and gave only five hits. Boxscore
